Text and Picture in the Same Page

by Mel Rosenberg - מל רוזנברג

The first step to have text and picture on the same page is to write some text on a page and click ‘enter’ twice.

Here is text. I am going to click on ‘enter’ two times. Once. Twice.

The next step is to create a new page and choose ‘artwork’. Keep in mind that when you choose ‘artwork’ it erases any text you might have on the page. So choose it only after you’ve created a new page. Click “add image”. Upload one or several pictures and select the one that you want to work with. It should appear on the next page following your text.

The third step is to create a blank page in between the text page and the artwork page. You can do this by clicking on the ‘+’ icons on the right.

The fourth step is to drag the artwork into the previous page. When the icon changes to ‘+’, release the picture and it will remain below the artwork. If you click on the picture, you can usually change its size. Note that if the picture is rectangular, it will now appear in its original form.

Now that your picture has appeared in the previous page, you can erase it from the artwork page, simply by clicking on the ‘x’ icon to the right (erases page).

Note that you can also drag artwork to a previous blank page as well. Finally, you can also add text to pages in which you have embedded material. Please see below.

Here is a text page to which I’ve dragged and dropped artwork. It works!!!

Here is Frank Sinatra singing a song.
