Low Angle Shot – Ripresa dal Basso

In a High Angle Shot, the camera points down at the subject and is above its eyeline. These camera shots are used to make the subject seem vulnerable, powerless, or weak.

Frontal Shot – Ripresa Frontale

This type of angle allows us to observe the characters straight by straight because the camera is in front of them at the time of the shooting. In the case of a near floor, it allows us to see the whole face and its features. It’s a type of first-person shot that we in real life adopt when interacting with other people.

Questo tipo di angolazione ci permette di osservare i personaggi dritto per dritto, perché la telecamera si trova davanti a loro nel momento delle riprese.  Nel caso di un piano vicino, ci permette di vedere tutto il viso e i suoi lineamenti. È un tipo di inquadratura in prima persona che noi nella vita reale adottiamo quando interagiamo con altre persone.

Three-quarter Shot – Ripresa Tre-quarti

This type of shot involves an angle where the face (and sometimes, but not necessarily the body) of the characters is seen for ¾, and hidden by ¼ due to the position of the camera. This method is used very frequently for scenes of dialogue between characters, and sometimes in the foreground, there is a person from behind talking to the one in front of him.

Side View Shot – Ripresa Laterale

A Side View Shot is taken from the point of view of an observer who can be hidden or on the side of the subject. It can be done as a tracking shot, which is a shooting in motion where the camera-man moves laterally to the subject at the same speed. It can also be done with a Steadicam, a camera mount that mechanically isolates the camera from the operator’s movement, allowing for a smooth shot.

La Ripresa Laterale viene eseguita dal punto di vista di un osservatore che può essere nascosto o nel lato del soggetto. Può essere eseguito come una ripresa di tracciamento, ovvero una ripresa in movimento in cui il camera-man si sposta lateralmente al soggetto alla stessa velocità. Può anche essere fatto con una Steadicam, un supporto per telecamera che isola meccanicamente la telecamera dal movimento dell’operatore, consentendo una ripresa fluida.

Back View or Rear View Shot – Ripresa Vista Posteriore o da Dietro le Spalle

A Back View or Rear View Shot is taken from the point of view of a person who is following the subject. Using a Canted Angle, which means a tilted angle, makes the scene scarier.

Una Ripresa Vista Posteriore o da Dietro le Spalle viene eseguita dal punto di vista di una persona che segue il soggetto. L’uso del Canted Angle, che significa con l’angolo inclinato, rende la scena più spaventosa.
