Adi Altschuler was born on November 23rd ,1986 and raised in Hod Hasharon. She is an educator, leader and social entrepreneur. She is Founder of the “Krembo Wings” youth movement for young people with and without special needs.
At the age of 12 she started volunteering at ILAN, an Israeli association for children with physical disabilities. During her volunteering she became a personal tutor for Kobi Kfir – a three-year-old child with cerebral palsy. Through this friendship with Kfir she was exposed to the world of special education. In 2002, when Adi was 16, she joined LEAD, an organization for the development of young leadership, and inspired by the connection with Kfir and his family, and the support from Kobi’s mother, she decided to establish a new youth movement in Israel: “krembo wings”- Israel’s first and only movement for youth both with and without special needs, where they can work together. Adi presided as CEO and chairman until 2009 and later as president until her retirement in 2014. Adi founded the “Memory in the Living Room” project in 2010 together with her husband, Nadav Ambon This initiative enables private individuals an alternative way of commemorating the Holocaust memorial day through independent meetings to the community in their own living room.

In this intimate gathering the participants host Holocaust survivors, listen to their stories, reconnect it to a memory of the Holocaust and examine themselves in society today through meaningful open conversations. Moreover, Altschuler led the Google Education Organization in Israel.
In 2017 Adi, together with a team of educators, teachers, parents and students founded “Inculu-special for everyone”- Inclu is a nonprofit organization. Inculu’s aim is to promote inclusive education in Israel’s public schools. In September 2018, four schools that integrated regular students with studends with special needs. were opened by the Ministry of Education.
