Odissey on Rex 2030

It was the year 2030 and on the planet Rex was facing a terrible threat. Nothing human, visible, catchable, no one knew how to get rid of this dark enemy.

It all began twenty years earlier, when the astronauts of the interstellar mission, returning from the Landa galaxy, had fallen ill with a mysterious disease, almost certainly of an alien civilization, which soon led them to death and began to spread, first among their family members, then slowly throughout the world.

Rex had suddenly become an inhospitable and dangerous place and scientists had been called on an almost impossible mission: to find and capture the molecule of the killer virus, but dove? And you’re coming?

The states claim, but while organizing expeditions continue around the world they had failed to defeat the deadly virus. It was thought to be something invisible and that its murderous force was unleashed in the air that day after day became increasingly inspirable. Starter was the name of an astronaut on the interstellar mission, who died of the infection and his name became famous for that time the virus began to be identified by his name. Time was running out fast and no one could find a solution. At university, only medicine was studied, because no one cared but to find the cure for this virus. As with all things, however, not everything is always obvious and obvious, science can do great things but in some cases it is bound to fail too.

Simple, the Zapatron,

as it was, he was unable to defeat this threat. To be electronic, while the virus attacked living things and then the Zapatron to function it would have to have a particle of Rexian DNA inside it. The entire population of the planet was then called upon to donate some of their DNA in order to load the Zapatron and make it so powerful that it attracted the virus to itself. After a month the donations ended and the collected serum was sent thanks to the Clutch probe in orbit directly at Kondor. It was he and his men who loaded the Zapatron and approached the atmosphere surrounding the planet Rex. It all depended on him, or total salvation or extinction. The scientists set a deadline by which other precautions should have been taken, which had nothing to do with research. Kondor was Starter’s son and had saved himself from the contagion because he was on a mission parallel to the one his mother had seen and together with his fellow travelers, they had been in orbit around Rex for years, precisely to escape a possible contagion. It was to him that, once he reached the end of all possible scientific research, the head of the Rexus Scientific Agency turned to him and his team of astronauts to try to capture the molecule with a special interstellar vacuum cleaner called Zapatron.

Of course, the mission would not have been the easiest and the entire population remaining alive would have to cooperate with Kondor and his men. But in between?

It was therefore decided that the entire population should stay at home and participate with dedication respecting all necessary security measures until the end of the mission of Kondor and his men. For them, therefore, a period of sacrifice began and no one could have done anything wrong.

They are for all years of food and primary goods to prevent people from going out on the street and favoring contagion, the appropriate doors and windows have been closed for the entire time of the mission and in case the air quality was improved thanks to electronic devices that purified the particles of the virus in special filters. It has been a very tough test, but no one has failed in their responsibilities and the whole population has shown that they want to safeguard their future. But back to Kondor and his crew… At the midnight strike on Rex’s millionth day, the mission began. The desert planet looked like a ghostly world and just like that it must appear in the eyes of the crew of Kondor’s ship. The Zapatron was positioned at the front of the spacecraft and the mission involved ten full laps of the planet. If the virus had not been caught at this point, all of Rex’s inhabitants would have been forced to look for a new world to start living on again.

Kondor instructed his crew to the mission and after finishing on the probe’s turbines and swooped towards Rex’s surface. He stopped in mid-air, just where the atmosphere was denser and began to travel all round trying to attract the virus.

He made eight complete rotations without success, until Zapatron’s spy lit up in a bluish color. It was what the signal he was looking forward to said was that the lethal virus molecule was in contact with dna loaded into the vacuum cleaner. The last two rotations were for him to the type of release and from the computer on board He warned the head of the Scientific Agency that the mission was accomplished. It remains one last step to take for the final salvation. He needed more fuel for his spacecraft, so he could reach the last galaxy in the universe, launch the virus now caught in his deepest black hole, and eventually re-enter Rex.

His request was granted and a fuel-laden missile was sent from the Skorpion military base to the Kondor spacecraft. So the probe began its long journey to the farthest galaxy. Kondor took Rex’s month to accomplish his feat and on his return was welcomed as a hero, he had managed to free humanity from the sneaky enemy that had taken his mother away, the circle could finally close and from that day for him and for rex’s entire population began a new era, made of happiness and peace.
