Benjamin Franklin

Benjamin Franklin was born January 17, 1706 in Boston Massachusetts. He worked to become a famous figure in American history.

Benjamin Franklin is most known for being an inventor, American delegate, helping in the creation of the Declaration of Independence, and acting as an ambassador during the American Revolution.

Benjamin Franklin has been honored honored by our country. Our country placed Benjamin Franklin on the hundred dollar bill in 1969. He is one of the only two people to be featured on money that is not a President.

After living an extraordinary life, Benjamin Franklin passed away on April 17, 1790 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at age 84.
