Round the World in Eighty Days
Author: Jules Verne
Genre: adventure

Explanation ot the cover design:
I designed a cover that show the path that phileas Foog took in his journey around the world in eighty days.
I chose an old map of the world beacase the story takes place at the 19th century.

A summary of the plot:
Phileas Fogg was a rich Englisman that made a bet with his friends that he can go around the world in eighty days.
He went out to the journey with his servant passepartout.
few days earlier the bank of england was robbed and the police was looking for the thief.
The book tells about his journey between the countries around the world, while the detective fix is tring to arrest him because he thought that Phileas Fogg was the thief.
In their way they save a young indian woman from a terribel death.
The three of them got back to London and thought that they were too late but at the last moment they found out that they got early in a day.
Phileas Fogg won the bet and married the indian woman.

The characters:
Phileas Fogg:
Phileas Fogg was a rich Englisman, he wore expensive clothes
and lived in London.
Everything in his life had to be just right and he had a very precise timetable.
he was kind, generous and helped people in time of trouble.
Detective Fix:
The Detective Fix worked at the Scotland Yard,London.
He is a thin mam.
He is manipulator- he gets people to like him and get from them the information he needs.
In the story he took advantage of Phileas Fogg and hurt him.
The character I liked the least is detective Fix because he tried to stop Phileas Fogg and almost prevented him from winning the bet.
