New cover to the book: I did this cover because I think it’s the most interesting, exciting and important part of the story.
I connected to this part because my parents got divorced and I felt like Anna son, Seriozha, who his parents fighting on him.
A summary of the plot-affair number one:
The story begins with someone who’s name was Oblonsky and he has a wife called Dolly. One day Dolly finds out that her husband betrayed her.
Oblonsky realized he had made a mistake, and called his sister Anna to talk to Dolly. While visiting her sister-in-law, Dolly, she meets the young, handsome Vronsky.
Anna and Vronsky fall in love and begin an affair. Eventually Anna becomes pregnant with Vronsky’s baby. She divorced Karenin and Vronsky leaves his military career, and the two go abroad. But to divorce her husband Karenin, was not that simple, in those days it was not easy to get a divorce. Only innocent partner could apply for a divorce. The guilty partner was not allowed to keep the children.
A summary of the plot-affaie number two:
The other relationship followed is that of Kitty and Levin. This relationship begin with Levin who came to visit in Moscow. He is desperately in love with Kitty, the princess from the Shcherbatsky family.
The first thing Levin did when he came to Moscow is look for kitty.
When they met at the ball, Levin takes kitty outside and proposes to her. Kitty heart was bursting with happiness’, but then she remembered Vronsky, and she looked at Levin’s desperate face with her clear, honest eyes and Refused.
A few months later, they meet again, at Oblonskys dinner party. Oblonsky had put Levin next to Kitty at the dinner table. After dinner, Levin wrote Kitty the letters W, y, t, m, i, c, b – d, t, m, n, o, t? These letters stood for ‘When you told me it can’t be-did you mean never or then?’
And she wrote T, I, c, n, a, d The letters meant, “Then I could not answer differently. “ and proposed to him.
Characters:
Anna: Anna Karenina, a beautiful, seductive young woman is married to a cold, distant older man named Karenin. Anna is the main character on this story.
Oblonsky: Oblonsky was Anna’s brother who support her and helped her with her divorce. Without Oblonsky, Anna would not meet her lover, Vronsky.
Dolly: Dolly was Oblonsky’s wife. Dolly and Anne were a good friends, the only person Dolly was ready to talk about the betrayal was Anna.
Karenin: Karenin was Anna’s husband who she got married to, but not because she loved him, these because of his good name in society.
Vronsky: Vronsky was Anna lover, who met her at the ball. Vronsky was supposed to get married with Kitty, but because he full in love with Anna, the marriage was canceled.
Levin: Levin and Oblonsky had been good friends since school and one day Levin came to Mosco to propose to his beloved, Kitty.
Kitty: Kitty was a princess from the Shcherbatsky family. Her mother wanted her daughter to marry Vronsky, but it did workout because he full in love with Anna.
Seriozha: Seriozha was Anna son from Karenin. Seriozha does not speak in the story but he have a very important part.
Nikolai: Nikolai was Levin brother, Nikolai and Levin had not seen each other for a longe time, but after Nikolai sickness they met again.
the character I liked the least:
The character I liked the least was Anna, I think she is to negative and doesn’t matter what is happening, she will think badly.
To my opinion, Anna’s behavior to her husband was wrong, She should not have betrayed her husband and blamed him about everything.
