The outcast girl

Tommy and Linda had been expecting for a girl for a long time.

They were very excited when their daughter was born, and they decided to name her Riley after the mother of Linda, who passed away a few months earlier.

A few years later, Riley had grown up and turned 11.

Tommy and Linda, her parents noticed a problem with Riley and realized that she wasn’t like the other girls, and that she was different from everyone else, she was small and short and couldn’t reach the cookies shelf in her house, even her little sister, Jade could reach it.

Tommy and Linda decided to take Riley to the doctor, to see what he could do about the problem and how it could be solved.

The doctor looked at Riley with a confused face and said “I’m not sure I can help Riley and solve her problem.”

Riley and Riley’s parents got mad and asked the doctor “Maybe there is still something you can do to help us?”

The doctor shook his head and said “I’m sorry but no, I may be able to get some pills that can help her grow faster, but it will not necessarily solve the problem and it effects everyone in a different way.

But I do recommend you to wait a few more years and see Riley’s progress, it happens to a lot of kids on her age that start to grow taller on a little bit older age.”

The next day Riley arrived to the playground, where most of the children at her age go after the end of the school day.

When Riley arrived to the playground she wanted to join a game and play with the kids.

Riley asked the kids if she could join the game, the kids started to laugh at her and insult her because of her height, and they told her she couldn’t play with them.

Riley ran home crying.

When she returned home, her parents noticed that she was crying and they approached her trying to figure out what happend to her and what caused her sadness.

Riley told her parents what happened at the playground with the other kids, and her parents suggested that maybe she would go for a walk to relax.

Riley left the house and went to the playground there she saw a little girl, she approached her and asked “what is your name?”, the girl answered “Tali”, Riley asked her “how old are you?”, Tali replied “I’m 11 years old”, Riley got excited and told her that she was 11 years old too.

Riley and Tali started talking to each other and to get to know each other better and became good friends.

Riley and Tali met every day after school.

One day, they decided to go outside, they arrived at the playground and were approached by a girl named Noya.

Noya started talking to Riley and Tali and very quickly they became friends, Noya invited them to play with her and her other friends, Riley and Tali agreed and went to play with them.

The kids accepted them very nicely.

Riley was very happy and finally felt belonged.
