Last summer I went to Tibet with my family. We were in a very wild area high up in the Himalayas. It was a walking holiday, so we walked and climbed every day – sometimes up to over 4,000 metres! It’s really beautiful in the summer, but in
winter it’s very dangerous because there’s a lot of snow and there’s always a possibility of avalanches. The local people believe that human-like creatures called yeti live in the mountains, but we didn’t see any!
