The Proghoulis Ancestors – Panaiotis, Maria and their 6 Children

The Proghoulis and Venizelou families were friends and Venizelou asked Takis’ grandfather (also called Panaiotis) to serve as the chief of police during the war. Panaiotis was given a beautifully carved sword as part of this duty and the sword remains with the family to this day.
