Emily and Lexi

 My book – Emily the wonder girl 

Part 1

Once upon a time, there was a girl who lived in a nice house, not too big and not that small. Her name was Emily. Emily was a good student with a lot of friends. She was always kind to people, and never hurt anyone. Emily had two big brothers who left the house. Her parents worked very hard. Emily’s mother, Victoria, worked as a housekeeper, but before Emily was born, Victoria used to be a school teacher. Emily’s father, Dave worked as a mailman, but before that he used to be a doctor. Fifteen years ago, when Emily was born, the whole family fell into an economic crisis. They had to sell their house and move to a smaller place. When her brothers left the house, Emily saw and heard her parents argue all the time because of the situation, and realized that she had to do something.

She started looking for jobs, without her parents knowing. She found a job as a salesperson in a clothing store at the mall and went there every day after school. With the money she earned she bought groceries, paid her own expenses, and saved it. She worked so hard and barely slept, so her grades went down. Emily’s parents noticed that Emily is much more tired lately and didn’t understand where all of the money- came from.  They decided to talk to her and figure out what was going on. She told them the truth and together they decided that she could still work, but less. They thanked her for the thought and for the sacrifice. Ever since then Emily learned how to combine things and how to be open with her parents in the future.

Part 2   

After a few weeks the situation of Emily’s family began to deteriorate and her only consolation was in the books. There was one book that caught Emily’s attention. An adventure book that Emily’s mom wrote when she was Emily’s age. 

  The book started like this –

“The devil girl”

There was this girl, the most beautiful in the world. She had all the boys in town wrapped around her finger, she would walk the halls and everyone would whisper and talk because all the girls in town wanted to be her, but behind those emerald eyes she was’s a devil in disguise.

She had a mission to control the world. She came from a family of devils who sent her to a human school to integrate with humans. Her name was Lexi. She had emerald green eyes and straight black hair. She was fifteen years old and spicely smart.

Emily closed the book and ed “Lexi is so strong I wish I was like her”  Suddenly she felt a strong pull in her stomach and was sucked into the book. She found herself standing confused in front of none other than … Lexi
