My summer holiday

I started my summer holiday with a week of soccer camp.

I went with Karla, Ida, Molly and Alma from the class, our team and my sisters team got together because we weren’t enough to have our own team. It was very fun to be there and to meet her friends (they were really nice!)

I then went with my 3 cousins and my sister to my grandmothers house for a week, we had A LOT of candy and we got very spoiled.

I also got a new haircut, I really needed it!

Then me and my sisters went to my fathers parents summerhouse.

I enjoyed being at the beach, visiting a big garage sale and playing boarding games. I also loved playing and cuddling with their cat, his name is Thor. We stayed at the house for 4 days.

When we came home, our mom had planned to bicycle to the Swedish island Ven, which was 40 kilometers and then on the ferry.

At Ven we visited the sweetest little bakery, we also were on a museum about Tycho Brahe. We stayed there for 2 days and then went home.

When we arrived home we immediately begun to pack, because we were going to Italia the day after. We drove 27 hours to get to our camping place, but it was worth it. We were gonna stay for almost 2 weeks.

At the camping place we swum a lot in the ocean and in the pools. We laid in a tent so we made our own food on a gas grill (in mini). I got eaten alive by mosquitoes and a lot of other children got as well. Then they spread something in the air to avoid mosquitoes, but the scary part was that they used a huge machine. And we got very scared when they told the message in the microphones.

In Italy, we also took a trip to Venice twice, we saw the Marcus church and tower and visited some very good restaurants, we also rented a gondol tour and the gondol sailer told us many things about Venice. We of course also went to a lot of shops and my sister got a bathing blue set of a mask and a cape.

We also visited Murano and Burano.

Murano was famous because of class art, we were stopping at every store because we loved the cute little glass pets. (Us girls and mom)

My dad got a little sick of waiting because it wasn’t his cup of tea🤣. Then after 1- 2 hours we needed to take him on a restaurant as an apology, to get him a big beer.

Burano is famous for their wonderful talents at making laces.

Burano is much smaller than Murano, so you can see the entire island in 15 minutes! At Burano me and my mom saw the island, while the others sat on a bar. We loved the many colored houses! I even got a bookmark from mom.

One of the days we drove out to a cave called “Grotte gigante”, it is the biggest cave in Italy, we learned a lot of stuff about it and my borders got pushed a lot when we got highest up in the cave. It was a very wonderful trip, and it was very fascinating to see the crystals, and hear the stories behind it. I got a little cute stone frog, as a souvenir. And we also got a very nice meal at a very cozy restaurant.

Then we drove to Switzerland, Grindelwald and stayed at a youth hostel. In Switzerland we walked a lot in the mountains and ate some meals at restaurants. And at my sisters birthday we even went to a nearby sports center and tried ice skating, swimming and we went there 2 times. It was also a very cozy and nice hotel, with a good view and just a nice place.

When we arrived home we packed out and just spend the rest of the last week visiting our cousins and relaxing at home. I played around and cuddling a lot with my cat.
