Water Molecule story

One day, I was minding my own business just like usual and suddenly I started floating. I felt like I was Evaporating and had no idea what to do. I kept on going and going. Then I realized that it was the sun’s heat energy which was causing me to Evaporate out of the ocean.

 As I kept going I started to turn into Water Vapour and I knew my journey was beginning. I knew how the Water cycle goes. I slowly reached the clouds and again I started to turn back into a water droplet. I knew what this process was, it was condensation. I condensed from a gaseous state to a liquid state.

But one day, suddenly, I started to fall down. Gravity! That’s what is pulling me down. It felt like falling from an airplane. I could fall onto a plant and evaporate by the Sun’s energy by the process of transpiration or on a mountain and runoff and flow into a river or lake. Or maybe I could be stored as groundwater or get used by an animal or plant. Any of them can be possible.

I saw a river underneath me. I now knew that I was going to fall into a river. I fell into the river and then many, many days passed and I filtered through the soil and was stored as groundwater. Then a few days later I was flowing into my Home Sweet Home. The ocean! my home. I was so glad to be back home. Now I know what the water cycle does and how it works. I even learned and had fun.
