The Camping Adventure

         It was about an hour driving to Annie’s Campground. My tummy was grumbling because it was mad at me for not feeding it. When we got there I thought I was going to die it was so hot. When we got there food was set up and I ate like a pig. We had hamburgers, brats, tuna noodle salad and other stuff. It was so good.

         After we ate, we went to the main building and got our wristband to use the golf cart and mini bikes.  Taylor, my dad, and I went to the jumping pillow. We did flips and my dad flipped me so high I landed on my butt. “Ouch!” I said. Next, we went to the trampoline where they had a volleyball net and two basketball hoops. Taylor and I had a competition to see who could make more hoops in two minutes. If I won we either would go mini golfing or riding around in golf carts around campsites. If Taylor won we would go swimming or row boating. If we end in a tie, we would play one more time but one minute instead. If we still are in a tie we would go mini bike racing from our campsite to the bathrooms.

     Then we went back to the camper to rest a little. Then we went row boating. I was afraid that we were going to tip but I still went. Then we went back to the camper again. We got our swimming suits and drove to the water hole.  It was cold at first but then it got warmer. Then Taylor and I went to the water bouncy house and we slid down it and jumped off. It was so much fun. Then we went to the mini golf course and played mini golf.

     We went to the petting zoo with my cousins. They had chickens which I am afraid of, and they had ducks, bunnies, kittens, and puppies. Taylor, my cousins, and I held the black and white bunnies. The one I was holding was so small and weighed about 2-5 pounds. Taylor, my cousins and I  held the kittens and puppies. When we were done I wanted to take one of the puppies, kittens and also the bunnies home with me.

Then it got dark and we headed back to the camper. It was a long day at Annie’s Campground. My grandpa started a fire and we roasted marshmallows, Hershey chocolate bars, and graham crackers to make s’mores. Then a big yawn came out then Taylor came running out of the camper and said, “Marissa we have to go to the jumping pillow now please!’’ “But only 5 minutes,” I said. “O.K.,” Taylor said and we went with my cousins.

We were back the fire was still going then I had 2 or 3 more s’mores.  I went to my top bunk listening to my family talking. While I was falling asleep I heard something. It got louder and louder but the I knew it was probably just my grandpa snoring. I was right. Just as I was falling asleep the fire slowly died out.
