Our Rainy Pink Day

It was a wet day but lockdown had ended and everyone was excited to be going to the golf club.

The colour Pink was everywhere because it was Pink Day to raise money for breast cancer research.

Many ladies came with containers to fill with delicious cakes and treats.

Others found designer masks, caps and games to play.

Only a few braved the weather and played golf.

Everyone stayed for lunch and looked forward to winning one of the  and other games.

However, one group of ladies had a special surprise planned on the day.
They had been practicing a ‘Pink Golf Glove’ song and dance for weeks and were looking forward to performing it today.

The weather and covid restrictions prevented the show on the day but the performance went ahead a couple of weeks later and we can all enjoy it now.
