The hyena is actually a brave nocturnal hunter in it’s own right. The hyenas food is any kind of meat and any animal but not plants. The cries of hyenas attract lions and other animals. There are four different species of hyenas. Hyenas have body shapes like dogs so when you’re hunting it’s not a cute dog. Hyenas are vicious scary laughs like a human carnivore tanish brown black dotted killing machine. Hyenas kill only if you bother them or startle them.

The African savanna is the largest savanna in the world. Savannas have dry warm to hot summers. Damp,cold winters prairies there are lots of temperate grasslands. Savannas cover of south America and Africa. Herds of animals travel together on a savanna. During a drought animals flock to water holes.

- imagine … the temperate climate to prairie grassland and eurasian steppes. Changes from freezing cold to very hot, depending on the season. The climate in savannas affect the animals by when it gets really hot it makes a forest fire and animals have to move. The fire affected the plants by the heat it made a big fire. The fire effects the animals bad because the need to rebuild their home and restock on food.

Most plants get the nutrients that they need from soil. There are several different species or kinds of pitcher plants. Some are related to the venus flytrap. The venus flytrap and pitcher plant eat flies and anything that goes in it’s mouth it will eat. The venus flytrap and pitcher plant live on a savanna or forest.

Savannas cover large areas of South America and Africa. Herds of animals all over africa travel together on savannas. Water holes then eat and drink? Animals on a savanna like the hyena need to eat and drink lots of water so they don’t dehigrate. The hyena hunts zebra,deer and other animals when done hunting the hyena rest and play.
