Who Killed Jacob Ross

 She was trying to figure out how much calorie is in a single diet bar when an officer who was holding documents called her name.

“Detective Wilson, sheriff wants to talk to you. I think he might give you a new case.”

She was surprised because lately there weren’t any big crimes committed by anyone. She got up from her seat and walked towards his office. When she arrived at his office he pointed at the door for her to close. They greeted each other, the sheriff was the one who broke the silence.

“Don’t worry I’m not going to take much of your time. We got a new case and I think you’ll be interested. A murder was committed. We suspect that someone in his family murdered him. There are 5 main potential killers. We want you to investigate the case and talk to the suspects.”

“You could’ve chosen anyone. Why are you assigning me to this case?”

“Trust me, I wouldn’t choose you if I didn’t have to. You’re not even my last choice.”

“Alright Sheriff, but I’m going to  need the details about the case that I’ll be working on.”

“Jacob Ross, 40 years old male, has been found dead in his house. We think that he has been dead for almost a week.”

“Where is the crime scene?”

“303 W Comstock St, Seattle, WA 98119. Teams are waiting for you there.”

“What do you mean they’re waiting for me? Why didn’t you tell me right away?” 

“Oh, stop being so arrogant and just go.”

“Fine, I’m leaving now.”

Detective Wilson grabbed her jacket and left immediately to get to the crime scene. By the time she arrived, the police team was there. One of the officers greeted and informed her about the situation, handing out the files.

When she entered the house there was a strong smell of some kind of dead animal mixed with cinnamon scented candles and broken glass everywhere. Also some of the furniture was damaged. He was killed in the dining room. 

“With all the mess, it seems like he got into a fight with the killer. Scars on his body shows he got injured badly before dying.”

While Detective Wilson looked around the room she saw…
