‏Taylor Swift

Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13, 1989) is an American

singer-songwriter and one of the highest-selling singers in the

world. Her narrative songwriting,which often focuses around

her personal life, has garnered widespread critical acclaim and

media coverage.

Swift was born in Redding, Pennsylvania to Andrea Gardner (nee Finley her younger brother, Austin, is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and engages in acting).
At the age of 9, Swift became interested in musical theater – she appeared in youth theater productions and regularly traveled to Broadway for voice and acting development classes. Country singer Shania Twain’s songs have led her to turn her attention to country music. She has spent her weekends performing at local festivals, fairs, cafes, karaoke competitions and sporting events.

Realized that she needed to differentiate herself from the rest of the beginning singers in the city and began to focus on writing independent songs. At the age of twelve, her computer technician showed her how to play
three chords on guitar and sparked her interest in learning to play the guitar and the inspiration for her first song, “Lucky You.”

In 2003, Swift and her parents began working with Dan Dimetro, a music agent from New York. Dimatro’s model for Swift for Abercrombie & Fitch, with
the help of “The Outside” entered the collection CD of the Maybelline cosmetics brand and participated in meetings with major record companies.
After performing original songs on display at the RCA record company, Swift received a follow-up and artist development contract on behalf of the company and began frequently with her mother Lanashville, known as the
“Country Capital.” 

In 2003 the family moved to Hendersonville, Tennessee, a town near Nashville.
Swift in an interview with the Daily Mail. In 2003, Swift and her parents began working with Dan Dimetro, a music
agent from New York. Oh Dimitrau modeled Swift for Abercrombie & Fitch,
putting on the song “The Outside”.

In Tennessee, Swift attended Hendersonville High School. In 2006, with the start of performances to promote her first album, she moved to a private school that provides a homeschooling service, which she graduated with honors. Swift received a matriculation certificate in 2008, after completing the quota of courses of the last two years in high school, in just one year.
