“Mrs.Ramsay” i turned my head, It was my “dear” husband calling me to sit with all the Successful men. They were at the middle of an hitted conversation, my husband and some guy called “Mr know-all” had a big argument about pearls.

When my husband looked at my pearls neckless i imidiatly started to get nearves i have realized that he is about to bring up my new pearls neckless which i got in New York.

“that’s a pretty chain of mrs. Ramsay’s, isn’t it” , I started to fell my blood running faster, and the nausea rises at my throat. My face became as white as the wall and i quikley put my neckless under the collar of my dress. After a small talk  between the men about my neackless, as i expected my dear stuiped husband brought up one of his stuiped ideas to have a bet in front of all the big names on the ship. One hundred dollar for Mr kelada if he finds out to be right but if he is wrong my husband will get the hundrad dollar.

The big public bet was about my pearls neckless, if it’s a real one or cultered one. It was obviously a real one i don’t were fakes but the real problem was my big lie, my husband must not finds out the truth. If he will i’m gonna find myself at the middle of a big scandal.

He can’t find out it’s a real pearls my whole life will be ruined.

With my trembling hands i took of the neakless and put it in Mr Kelada’s hand. I looked into his eyes to find even a little bit of compation, maybe he could be my savior and keep me out of prison.

The second he brought up his eyes up to mine, I knew he understood, he will protact me.

I gasped in relief, he didn’t called me out, my secret is safe.

It’s 1 am and i called my lover from New York, i had to hear his voice he is the one thing in the world that make me calm. We talked for an hour and then my husband apper and i quickly hang up the phone. All i wanted is to get of this ship.

we will arrive to Yokohama in a few day and a haven’t thanked Mr. Kelada yet.

At the middle of the night 3, days after he saved me, I snuck out of my room put an hundred dolar bill under mr Kelada’s door room.

I went back to my room i layed on my bed and started to think how i found myself in that situation.

“I’m leaving for a year to Japan to work”, that was the sentence that broke me. I found myself alone in the big city, without my husband. I couldn’t move from our bed for days.

One day i went to Centrel Park in ordar to clean my head. I stopped to drink coffee at the local coffee shop, “two coffee please, one for the beautiful lady next to me”. I saw a tall elegant man, for being polite i sat with him for a the cup of coffee. Without paying attention we sat there for hours, all we did was talking about life and it felt so good that someone isn’t see me as just a pretty face.

I knew seeing him again was a mistake but I couldn’t resist.

We met almost every day for an year, i fall for him.

As an instict i hang up the phone, almost broke it.

I wore my most beautiful dress, put my elegant heels and the most expensive jewelry i have.

My lover took me to our last dinner at a chaf resturant in New York, It was the best & worst day of my life.
