Ebbinghaus illusion
Look at this image for a while and think which of the red circles is bigger. Measure them! You might be surprised to find they are exactly the same size!
When you look at one of the red circles, your brain also sees the green circles around it. It assumes the one on the left is bigger, even it isn’t.
The red circle surrounded by smaller green circles appears larger: this is an optical illusion!
