
Hebron is a Palestinian city located to the south of Jerusalem in the West Bank, about 35 km away from Jerusalem. It is considered the largest Palestinian city by area. The city of Hebron was named after Ibrahim Al-Khalil, who followers of the heavenly religions believed to be the father of the prophets. It is believed that he resided in the city of Hebron in the area of the Ibrahimi Mosque. Hebron is famous for its vineyards, glass industry and trade.

The Ibrahimi Mosque, or the Ibrahimi Mosque, is considered the oldest sacred building in use until today, almost without interruption, and it is the fourth holy place for Muslims. In the south of the West Bank in Palestine, it is similar in its construction to the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The mosque is surrounded by a great wall built of huge stones, some of which reach 7 meters in length.

The city of Hebron was known before that by different names, including the village of Arba, in reference to a Canaanite king named Arba. It was named after Hebron before it was later called Hebron.
