My Street

I decided to write about the name of my street “Harugey Malchut” or in English “The dead of the kingdom”

The dead of the kingdom were ten rabbis living during the era of the Mishnah who was martyred by the Roman Empire in the period after the destruction of the Second Temple.

They were cruelly executed by the Roman government in the Land of Israel because they did not discipline them, and continued to study and teach Torah. These ten dead became part of the Jewish consciousness of resilience and devotion

their story is very inspired.

it’s about willpower and adherence to purpose. when someone doesn’t give up on his principles and prefers to be killed.

I think that we can learn from this story a lot about faith, tradition, and values.
