Numberle vs. Wordle and Nerdle
If you’re familiar with Wordle, you should be able to recite its rules, design, and formula off the top of your head. Numberle is essentially identical to Wordle in almost every regard, featuring a grid-style game board, a hint system that is tightly tied to colors, and a set amount of guesses to arrive at the solution.

The major and most noticeable distinction is that the Numberle game’s components are numbers, symbols, and the equations they produce, rather than words and letters.
If you’re not new to the scene, you’ve probably heard of Nerdle, the predecessor of Numberle, a Math game that uses the same grids, guesses, and colors formula to provide players with daily “hidden equation” problems.

Numberle, on the other hand, builds on what both Wordle and Nerdle lack by allowing players to choose the difficulty level by selecting any equation length between 5 and 12, as well as the operators to be used in a game. All of this comes with the added benefit of having access to an endless number of games.

That’s right, you can play as many games on whatever mode as you like without having to wait for the 24-hour timer to reset! But we’ll get into those intricacies later; first, let’s get the basics out of the way.

How to Play Nerdle: Everything You Need to Know

What are the best places to play Numberle?
It should come as no surprise that, like all other Wordle spin-offs and clones, Numberle is an online game that can be played on web browsers on any device (smartphones, PCs, etc.) as long as you have an internet connection. To get to numberle.org, all you need is a few clicks or taps, and you can start playing right away.
Numberle can be played at Numberle.org or by clicking here.
The game page defaults to a 6×8 grid game board, which means there are 8 columns to employ in order to locate the secret equation and 6 turns to play it out. There’s even a button dedicated to designing your own custom Numberle to share and challenge your friends and other gamers, in addition to the in-game settings for adjusting the length of the target equation.
