The bell rang, it was the end of the second period. Mr. Maroon was just ending his class in the homeroom with his students. He finished giving homework and was out the door.

Walking through the hallway, he couldn’t stop but notice how pale little cherry was from first grade. Her skin was almost light pink, a shade far from her bright red skin. He sweetly smiled and moved on. 

He felt a buzz in his pocket, and pulled out his crimson Galaxy red phone. It was Principle scarlet, asking him to meet in her office just a few doors to his left. So he turned that way, wondering what had occurred- he hoped maybe it was about the vice principal spot that he applied to.

The office was tidy and lightened. The brick red colored wooden table was neatly organized, and the chair was occupied. Mrs. Scarlet, with high cheekbones, tight bon and a silk shirt nicely tied at the neck, was sitting straight up looking at him. “Please sit down” she said, and so he did.
