Personal life
By Odelya.
The article discusses the personal life of Elizabeth
the first, following the events in the royal family and
how these shaped her from a very young age.
Elizabeth was born in 1533 in Greenwich,
England. She was the daughter of King Henry
the eighth of England and his second wife,
Anne Boleyn. She had an older half-sister Mary, and, later, a younger half-brother, Edward.
The first general idea the article deals with is the events that happened to her during her childhood and teenage years. Elizabeth lost her place in the royal succession (to which the Parliament would later restore her) after her mom was beheaded in May 1536.
The emotional impact of these events on the little girl, who had been brought up from infancy in a separate household at Hatfield, is not known; presumably, no one thought it’s worth recording.
Two of Elizabeth’s half-siblings sat on the throne after Henry’s death in 1547: Edward the sixth, who acceded at the age of nine and died six years later; and Mary the first, who operated under the belief that Elizabeth was trying to seize power from her for the entirety of her five-year reign.
The second general idea is the struggle she had as an unmarried queen.
When Elizabeth was crowned monarch in 1558, her lack of a husband and heir became one of the general issues for the remainder of her rule. Elizabeth died at Richmond Palace on 24th of March 1603. The Protestant King of Scotland James the sixth became King of England.

The aspect of the article is the Anglo-Spanish War while Elizabeth 1 reign.
The Anglo Spanish War was conflict between the Habsburg kingdom of Spain and the kingdom of England.
The article introduces 2 general ideas and causes of war. Spain’s attempt to restore Catholicism in England. Under the rule of Elizabeth 1, the people of Europe were divided into the protestants and the Catholics.
Elizabeth was cautious in foreign affairs, maneuvering between the major powers of France and Spain. By the mid 1580s England could no longer avoid war with Spain. 80% of the war was fought at sea. England seized some Spanish bullion ships and Spain responded by seizing England ships. On august 1588 the British navy defeated the Spanish armada in the battle of Gravelines off the coast of France.
In 1589, Elizabeth sent to Spain the English Armada and she sent 150 ships. The English fleet suffered a catastrophic and 40 ships sunk.
The second general idea is Elizabeth’s actions in support of the Dutch Revolution.
Philip, the leader of the Spanish armada wanted to occupy Dutch as well, so Elizabeth supported their revolution.
