A Meaningful Day- Micaela Kraitman:

Every day for me is meaningful. Waking up at 8 a.m., having a good coffee, and going to work. I work as an English teacher with 12, 13, and 14 years old boys. I arrive at school, they receive me with big smiles, and I already know that it will be a meaningful day. I have the opportunity of teaching new knowledge to them.

However, what I most enjoy about teaching, is learning. The kids teach me how to be creative, and a good listener. But also, I appreciate coming back from work. Resting and preparing a tasty dinner for my husband makes me very happy.

I agree with the poem´s idea. It is important to give 100% of yourself and make every act big. Every day you can help someone. Of every day, you can make a meaningful day.

My meaningful day- Dahlia Kadosh:

I know I’ve had a meaningful day when I go to sleep with a sense of fulfillment. It’s always the days that tire me out the most that are the most successful days but going to sleep knowing I’ve succeeded in everything I wanted to is a good feeling.  A meaningful day is when I don’t feel like I missed an opportunity that day and put my best effort into everything I did.

As someone who works with adults with special needs, a meaningful day is a day where I feel like I’ve helped them reach their own individual goals every day.  Some days are harder than others, but specifically, on the days when work feels harder, I go to sleep with a stronger sense that my day was meaningful.  The work requires a lot of mental and emotional strength, but that doesn’t stop me from doing other meaningful and important things when I get home, for example eating dinner with my husband, calling or seeing family, and relaxing.

I agree with the main idea of the poem. It is important to try and inspire others today to do things for others. The biggest feeling of fulfillment comes after doing good for others, not just for yourself. A day wasted for me is when I go to sleep feeling like I didn’t do my best to take advantage of every opportunity I had.
