The book “who was christopher columbus ” tells about christopher From his childhood until his  death , the book emphasize His love for the sea and his knack on the ship . After the childhood the life lead columbus to search his luck in voyage in the sea and sailing west to find Trade routes and gold.  In favor of willpower of christopher and his Struggles to find support of money from rich people as  kings and queens of countries he even get more permutation he intended from the beginning in voyage.

The most interesting part of the book is the kindness and concern of columbus to his crew About along Sea journey In the middle of the ocean. The quote : “the crew grew restless. They had been at a sea a long time . Just how far had they come ? well, columbus kept two logbooks . In one , he recorded the real distance sailed each day , in the other the one that his crew could look at – he recorded fewer miles . According to columbus he did not want to scare the crew by letting them think the voyage was taking too long ” (pages 41-42)

2)Did you like the ending of the book? Why?

Yes , I like the ending of the book because after all the Travels columbus doing and do a lot of effort this  It will pay off , although he did not know he discover new world , places not one European has not been .

Hello Bonnie Bader , I want to to thank you for writing the book:” Who was Christopher Columbus ?” . This book teach me a lot to the life on Willpower and endurance for a particular purpose and I belive to also other teens. I will explain my words , was parts in the voyage of columbus that he was in Crisis in terms of equipment supply, a lack of money and the lack of people on the team but I liked the point where you clarification the willpower help him a lot . Columbus not gave up and he contact a lot of people to help (king, queen , rich people and more) , and in the end it to be paid to all over the world.

Another thing that I liked in the book is The Possibility to recognize more characters discover worlds or change something in the world  ago hundreds years (like Bartolomeu Dias or Marco Polo)  , they do daring ways to help themselves to their country and the world.

Yes . I liked to reading the book because I like to see the big change in the voyage , exemple , Columbus search for people to his crew and later he have too much people or search only for way to india but he discover big and new world .
