The greatest war

Part 1

Our story starts with a 16-year-old boy named Will.

Will likes to go out with other adventurers and slay monsters, he hates those harmful and evil monsters. Will can also travel very fast.

One stormy noon, a big battle took place, a battle between two great empires: the warriors from the east and the goblins from the west. Lots of good warriors died, but Will managed to escape from the battlefield and found shelter for the night. “This cave is going to serve me well for the night!” Will said and started gathering water and berries from a nearby river.

After the night, Will started to head to his home village. But when he got there, he saw his village in ruins! There were no

survivors! So, he decided to investigate. Will said: “Let’s see what I can find here”. He found some torn notes, but Will could read two of them: one of them said: “if you read this it means that war started, in the blacksmith, go down the stairs and pull the 7th torch to find a great treasure that will help you survive.” The second note said: “tHE gOBLiN lORd Was HerE”.
Will got scared and decided to see what is in the blacksmith.
So, he went down the stairs and pulled the 7th lever and got amazed by all the great swords that were there. But one sword caught his eye, his father’s great trident, the “Glacial Edge”, forged with 31 gems and ice dragon blood! After taking the sword and finding some more supplies he headed to the wizard’s tower. Luckily, he wasn’t seen by any monster while he was in the forest. “Finally, the wizard’s tower,” Will said. When he got there, he was so relieved that the wizard’s tower was untouched. So, he

climbed the 3648 stairs in the tower. When he got up, he saw the wizard looking out of the window. The wizard said: “you made it, very well. When I saw the village destroyed, I got so worried, but I see that you’ve proven yourself, you even got your father’s great trident. For our purposes, there is a castle in a district called Gobbo town held by goblins, armed with huge mortars and huge arches. You need to sneak there and slay the huge goblin leader who is in the highest room in the highest tower this will give you the gear and extra supplies you’ll need for the rest of your journey. If you’re being seen, the mission is over.” So, Will went down the 3648 stairs to get down (I’m starting to feel sorry for him…) and went to Gobbo town. When heading to the castle, Will saw a coursed-looking goblin. Once he saw it, he couldn’t get this strange image out of his head (Now I feel even more sorry for him…). [image on next page]

After two and a half hours of walking, Will finally got to Gobbo town. He scouted the place and saw three major entrances: the main gate, the gate in the outer wall, and a breach in the wall. He decided to get into the castle from the breach so that hopefully, no one will notice him. Will entered the castle, no goblin has noticed him, and he started making his way to the highest room in the highest tower he could find. There was that close call: he climbed on the wall onto the ceiling, and he almost fell on a goblin. But he got safely to the highest room he could find, and he found the goblin leader… In a strange-looking room: there were vines all over the walls, lots of moss on the walls, and strange creatures on the floor. Will pulled his trident and the battle started. Will dodged hit after his, and when he had a chance, he drew his trident and blow at the goblin leader’s hard armor to break it. Once the armor was broken, Will threw his

trident at an insane speed and the goblin leader was defeated once and for all. After defeating the goblin leader, the only thing he needed to do is to defeat the GOBLIN LORD. Since no one warned the goblin lord, Will could make his way to the goblin kingdom and defeat him. But it was a dangerous and long way, so, he decided to go back to the wizard and see what he can say or give him for the rest of the raid. After returning to the wizard, the wizard told him: “Well, you survived it very well. I didn’t expect for less from you”. Will replied: “So what do I have to do now, after I defeated the goblin leader?”.

After that, go to the goblin lord’s castle and defeat him, while he doesn’t know that we plan a sneak attack, he will be surprised, and the fight will probably be easier this way”, The wizard said, and gave Will a charm that can make him invisible while in danger. Will said thanks and goodbye and started to travel to the

castle. The way was challenging and full of dangers, but Will got to the castle eventually. He prepared his charm, trident (in case he will need it), and light armor, so he can sneak easily without anyone noticing him. Then, he quickly and quietly got to the goblin lord’s room and got ready to slay him. Then, he opened the doors, and saw the most evil and crazy goblin, THE GOBLIN LORD! His room was made mostly of wood (as expected for a raider who has tons of gold), and it also has some petitions made out of gold. Now, you may think that he looks nice and won’t cause any damage, but he is the brain behind all the attacks and raids on the warriors’ nation. Will drew his trident and the final battle started! Hit after hit Will dodged the goblin lord’s hits and slashed with his trident when he had the opportunity, he strokes until the goblin lord has fallen dead.

Will didn’t know what to do now, so he returned to the wizard to tell him about the victory. The wizard said: “Now that we don’t have any treats, let’s rebuild our nation. After all, we don’t want to be vulnerable for that long”. And this is what happened, the warriors’ nation was rebuilt and lots of new warriors came to take part in it.

5 hundred years later, when Will is not leaving anymore, only legends can tell what happened.
