After Chris finished reading the letter that Larry wrote, that says he had killed himself because of joe actions joe broke down in tears

He couldn’t believe what he had heard, Chris was full of rage and hatred towards his father, joe suddenly realized the consequences of his actions and understood he needed to take responsibility for the mistakes he has done.

Finally, he decided to turn himself over to the police and admit to all his crimes.

After that Chris and his mother were broken Chris was broken because he understood why is brother killed himself and his mother was broken because she finally found out the truth about Larry, which is that he is no longer alive.

Chris decided to move to a different city with Ann and to get married to her, after 3 years they had a son and they decided to name him Larry.

Ann and George got into a better relationship with their father after understanding he was sorry for what he did, and so did Chris with his father.
