My Internship

My name is shachar I am a third-year student in Industrial Engineering and Management with a major in digital systems.

I’ve took part in Step Internship program and It was fu**king amaizing.

I signed up for the internship program in order to acquire valuable new knowledge and to experience the world of business environment.

The company I’ve took part in was “Sizer Technologies”.

Sizer offers powerful, convenient, and friendly body measurement and sizing data solutions.

The goal of the company is to integrate their product into the leading websites of the largest fashion companies.

My Internship took place under the artificial intelligence department.

I was responsible for collecting and analyzing data. Subsequently, I was tasked with managing an outsourcing team, which were responsible for executing the data collection process.

My contributions in data collection and analysis play a significant role in advancing the company’s state-of-the-art algorithms. As the company heavily relies on data, my internship is making a tangible impact.

The project I worked on focused on consolidating size charts from various fashion companies. The primary challenge was ensuring that the outsourcing team fully understood the scope of the project and executed it accurately. To address this, I created a comprehensive explanatory document outlining the collection method and necessary information. To ensure accuracy, I utilized the pre-existing system checks to detect any anomalies.

Additionally, I established direct communication channels to facilitate smooth collaboration between different teams, such as availability and operations.

In conclusion, it was an outstanding experience, and I am very happy that I made this choice and took part in this journey.
