I still remember my first shift at Ben Gurion Airport as a ground attandant, it was stressful but very enjoyable.
The airport is always busy, exciting and dynamic.
Entering the airport can be confusing, one can get lost and be unsure which direction to go.
So as an former airport employee, let me share with you some interesting facts and tips about the process steps.

First step:
Security check.
All passengers flying from Ben Gurion Airport are required to pass a security check by the security workers at the terminal from which their flight departs.
Passengers must stand up for the security check process about 3 hours before their departure time.

After security check, there is the check-in process, which is the place where the passengers sending luggage and get seats for the aircraft and get the boarding pass that show where is the gate and boarding time.
Important to remember!
If you did online check-in at the website, you can go through the secutiry check and then directly to passport control, which is the next step after check in counters.

Second step – Passport control.
After check-in you go through passport control, where you attach your passport to the machine and receive a note that allows you to leave the country.
For your attention!
Check that you have a biometric passport for skipping the line.

Step three – Pre Boarding and Boarding:
That’s it!
Now you can finally go and do shoping at the Duty Free !!!
Do not forget to be 15 minutes before gate closing.

Last year I’ve just finish working at the airport.
It was such an amazing time, I met people from all over the world, during these 4 years I’ve accumulated experiences that I’ll never forget.
I’m still miss the adrenaline at the airport.
It was a very challenging and fun period.
Here are some pictures that describe my best moments in the airport, with people I love and cherish
