Olam Omlo’o – Chapter 1

We all have memories, thoughts and feelings from that period..

There can be better or less, but we all felt that we had to find ourselves and invent ourselves from the beginning.

I remember the moment that I felt it. I sat on the couch and tried to think about how can I help people during that period. I started to think about boxes of food that I will organize and divide among families that need it. I started to build a list of items and their costs, but then I realized that there are big organizations that do it already, and can help with those boxes more than I. It causes me to think more creatively, and then I invented my organization called ” Olam Omlo’o “.

” Olam Omlo’o ” started from an idea to help my close community. I decided to do a collaboration with a clothing Store in my city. I collected money in a few different ways, and converted them to vouchers in the clothing Store.

every voucher was 200 NIS, and with those 200 NIS, the families in need could buy clothes for the winter that were worth more than 200 (because of the sale that the store did).

With a big help and a lot of donations, 18 vouchers were collected and arrived to 18 families in need with big love.

That was my way to help families in need on one hand, and on the other hand, helping a local store to earn a living in a difficult period.
