1 .
Before Hogwarts

Ten years before the beginning of the plot, the dark wizard Lord Voldemort murders Harry’s parents, but for some reason loses his powers when he tries to kill Harry himself. While the wizarding world celebrates the fall of Voldemort, Albus Dumbledore, Minerva McGonagall and Rubeus Hagrid bring the orphaned Harry to the home of his Muggle uncles Vernon and Petunia Dursley. Over the next ten years, Harry receives from his uncles Vernon and Petunia (along with their only son Dudley) A humiliating attitude of neglect and abuse. Shortly before his 11th birthday Harry receives mysterious letters which are destroyed by his uncle who prevents him from reading them. One day, dozens of letters addressed to Harry infiltrate the house, and in order to escape from them, his uncle Vernon decides to take his family to a cabin located on an isolated island in the middle of the sea. Shortly after their arrival, a gigantic man bursts into the cabin, introducing himself as Rubeus Hagrid, and tells Harry what the Dursleys have been hiding from him for all these years: Harry is a wizard, and he should soon begin his studies at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He even reveals to him that his parents were murdered by Voldemort, contrary to the version of his uncles, who told him that his parents died in a car accident.

2. the beginning of the year
Before the beginning of the Hogwarts New Year banquet, the new students are sorted into the different houses using the sorting bonnet. Most students go through a short screening process; Draco Malfoy was sent to Slytherin House before the bonnet was even fully placed on his head. With Harry, the sorting procedure goes on at length, and the hood reveals that in her opinion, due to his ambition, he is more suitable for Slytherin. Harry opposes this in light of the negative information he received about the house, and finally the bonnet sends him to Gryffindor house together with his new friend Ron. During the meal, Harry looks towards the teachers’ dining table and notices a teacher named Severus Snape, when immediately after and for the first time in the series, Harry feels a sharp pain in the scar left by the curse Voldemort put on him.

Harry leaves the Dursley family home 3
, and at King’s Cross Station he boards the express train to Hogwarts. At the station he meets the members of the Weasley family, who show him how to get on platform nine and three quarters, from which the train departs. During the trip, Harry befriends Ron Weasley, who tells him that someone tried to break into the safe at Gringotts. He also meets for the first time Hermione Granger, a smart student of Muggle origin, and in Ron’s eyes, a bit annoying. Another student named Draco Malfoy, accompanied by his friends Crabbe and Goyle, tries to advise Harry to stay away from Ron, but Harry rejects this due to his distaste for Malfoy’s arrogance and prejudice against anyone who is not a pureblood.

4 hilosopher’s Stone
The night before his first Quidditch match (against Slytherin) Harry sees Snape receiving medical treatment from Filch for a leg injury, which appears to be a bite. The gang deduces that Snape was bitten by the three-headed dog when he tried to enter the third floor corridor. During the game, Harry loses control of his broom, due to a curse spell. Hermione, sitting among the spectators, notices Snape watching Harry and murmurs something. She rushes to the area where he is sitting, knocking down Professor Quirrell on the way, and secretly sets Snape’s wizarding robes on fire. Harry manages to regain control of his broom, grabs the golden snitch, and gives Gryffindor the victory in the game. After the game the trio goes with Hagrid to his cabin

5 The beginning of Christmas vacation
. Harry, Ron, and Ron’s brother stay at Hogwarts for the holiday, during which Harry receives an invisibility cloak from an unknown person. Harry uses the cloak to search for information about Flamel in the restricted books section of the Hogwarts library, but is forced to escape from Snape and Filch who arrive in the library area after an enchanted book starts screeching. He entered with great difficulty an unused classroom with a mirror, known as “Nafta’s Mirror”. In this mirror Harry sees his parents and his ancestors. Harry indulges in visions of the mirror until Professor Dumbledore explains to him that the mirror shows nothing more than the strongest wish of the beholder, but does not grant any knowledge or abilities. The inscription on the mirror is an anagram of the sentence “I will not see your face but if you are the desire of your heart”.

6The fight against Voldemort and the end of the school year
A few weeks later Harry and his friends are resting after finishing their end of year exams. Harry begins to wonder how something illegal like a dragon egg came into Hagrid’s possession. When he asks Hagrid about this, he answers that a stranger with a cloak covering his head bought him several drinks in a pub located in the wizarding town near Hogwarts, while playing cards, and was very interested in which animals Hagrid takes care of in order for the dragon to receive proper care. Hagrid, who was already drunk, told the stranger that all it takes to put a dangerous animal like Fluffy to sleep is to play some music. Harry correctly deduces that one of the defenses around the stone is no longer effective, but fails to tell Professor Dumbledore about this as he is hastily summoned to the Ministry of Magic in London. Harry guesses that Snape faked the message, and that he will try to steal the stone that night

Harry wakes up in the Hogwarts infirmary
, where Professor Dumbledore tells him that he survived thanks to his mother sacrificing her life to protect him, thus giving him magical protection that prevents Voldemort, who is unable to understand the power of love, from touching him. Voldemort abandoned Quirrell who died, and according to Dumbledore he will try to return by other means. Dumbledore explains to Harry that the reason he was able to take the stone from the mirror was that he wanted to find it but not use it, which is in contrast to Quirrell/Voldemort who wanted to misuse it. Following this, Dumbledore and Flamel decided that it would be better to destroy the stone..

, the end of the book8.
Following the leak of information about what happened around the attempt to steal the stone, Harry becomes a hero, which is intensified after Professor Dumbledore decides to award him, Ron, Hermione and Lanville points that help Gryffindor win the house tournament for the first time in seven years. At the end of the year, Harry had to return to the Dursley family home. However, he happily tells Ron and Hermione that the Dursleys don’t know that, as a minor, he is not allowed to perform magic outside of Hogwarts, and that this will cause many amusing situations during the vacation

The book is about a boy named Harry Potter.
He lives with his uncles. He receives a letter (invitation) to the Hogwarts school for wizards, his uncles do not allow him to attend the school because they do not want him to find out that he is a wizard, but the person who brought him the letter told him that he is a wizard. On the way to school he meets two children, who will be his best friends later in the series. In the world of wizards, most people love Harry, cheer for him (later in the book you will understand why.). At school, Harry and the other students study special subjects; potions, defense against dark forces, herbalism, fortune-telling and more. The school also has a Quidditch team (a type of sport; riding brooms in the air), and Harry is the youngest Quidditch player in the last century. But not everything is good in Harry’s world, there are also people who want to hurt him.

I love the Harry Potter book series because it is interesting, suspenseful, sad, exciting and happy.
I am sure you will enjoy the book because in the book we develop our imagination, you can learn from the book about friendship and courage.
The plot is full of surprises and there are unexpected things at all, sad and happy
