the story take place:the story happen after the world war 1

he was traveling from San Francisco to  Yokohama

while they were going on the ship

the story talks about :

it talks about someone who named Mr. know all that meet him the narrator on the ship

he was very arrogant person and he always think about him self that he know every thing

and the he is the best on the ship

one evening while me. kelada the narrator the doctor ,mr. ramzy and his wife were dinning 

they were talking and consult about business mr know all noticed the chain pearls on mrs. kelada 

and he asked if its real or not .

the husband answered yes it is!

face expressions of mrs. ramzy were not good they were deprissing so mr. know all knew that mr. ramzy is leing

so he was forced to say its r

mr. know all took out from his pocket a hundred-dollar bill . he handed it to mr. ramzy without a word

mrs.ramzy felt ashamed from her husband did ! so she was looking for a way to get the money back for mr. kelada 

she looked for his phone number and she caled him and told the truth and she wanted to see mr .kelada in the mid night after her husband go to sleep 

they meet each other secretly and mrs. Ramsay kissed mr. kelada and gave him the money back ! 

she was very upset and depressing so they decide to escape and run from this life so they throw them self in the sea
