Mr. Know-All

The narrator was going to Yokohama, Japan from san Francisco, the narrator had to share a cabin with Mr.Kelada he didnt like him at first he even was surprised that Mr.Kelada was english cause he didnt seem like one, then  the narrator called for a pack of cards o play patience, a man came up to him and that man was Mr.kelada he wanted to show the narrator a magic trick with the cards but the narrator refused at the end they agreed on showing one magic trick but Mr.Kelada showed him three the narrator hated him more.

Me.Kelada was chatty and he knew everyone on board he was the the best hated man in the ship he used to do everything and, knew everything so they called him Mr. Know-All

the narrator and Mr.Kelada sat on the doctor’s table and joined them a man called Ramsay he was as dogmatic as Mr.Kelada with his wife Mrs.Ramsay she was pretty, one evening at dinner the conversation by chance drifted to the subject of pearls, Mrs.Ramsay was wearing a chain, Mr.kelada said that the pearl was real and he seemes so sure besides he was going to japan just to look into this japanese pearl business Mr.Ramsay didnt believe it so they had a bet if Mr.Kelada was right he would pay Mr.Ramsay 100$ and so the same to Mr.Ramsay if he lost the bet he is going to give Mr.kelada 100$.

Mr.kelada saw Mrs.Ramsay blushing and she seemed uncomfortable, Mr.kelada checked the pearl and it turned out that he was right but he hesitated to tell Mr.ramsay he knew that his wife was hiding something so he just said that he was wrong and gave him 100$ and left in the next morning Mr.Kelada saw Mrs.ramsay he asked her to meet her and when they met he told her that he knows the truth and her husband has the right to know the truth too but she was scared from revealing the truth but then he threatened her if she wont tell him he will Mrs.Ramsay stopped him and told him the to take the pearl so he dont tell her husband but Mr.Kelada wasnt that type of men he was respected man and would never do such a thing so he refused Mrs.ramsay gave up and saw there is no hope she decided to reveal the truth.

Mr.ramsay didnt like it so he hit his wife and insulted her infront of everyone he also took the pearl to sell it Mrs.Ramsay couldnt do or say anything she just wanted to start another life with a new story, and Mr.Kelada became the most loved person in the ship and respected by everyone.
