Divergent Boundaries- Two plates move away from each other.
Iceland and the Red Sea are real world example of Divergent Boundaries.
Makes earthquakes.
Deep ocean trenches.
Created at the seafloor.
Transform Boundaries
Boundary at which two plates move past each other horizontally is called Transform Boundary.
San Andreas and the western half of California are Transform Boundaries.
Makes earthquakes.
Mid-ocean ridges are connected by transform boundaries.
Convergent Boundaries
Form where two plates collide.
West Coast Of South America between Nazca Plate and the South American plate.
Another example is the Andes Mountain Range.
Makes earthquakes.
Makes the largest earthquakes.
Destroys the sea floor.
