There are three different types of plate boundaries, the three types are: Divergent, Convergent, and Transform plate boundaries. Divergent Boundaries occur when two tectonic plates move away from each other, Convergent boundaries happen when two or more tectonic plates or fragments come closer to one another and collide, Transform Boundaries occur when two tectonic plates slide past on another. PLate Boundaries can be complicated. but sometimes it is not that hard to identify the difference of each differant boundary, even today scientists still find new ways to identify each one and there is still way more to learn about these awesome boundaries.

This is a Divergent Boundary, in this Boundary lava melts in the middle of each of the two plates.

This is a Convergent boundary it creates the biggest earthquakes.

This is a Transform Boundary it has a transform fault.
One famous Divergent Boundary is The Great Rift Valley in NE Africa, One example of a Convergent Boundary is the West Coast of South America Between the Nazca Plate and the South American Plate, Finally one real-world example of a Transform Boundary is the Alpine Fault in New Zealand.

What each of the three Boundaries create and destroy
Divergent Boundary: Earthquakes, Sea Floor, Mid Ocean Ridges.
Convergent Boundary: Biggest Earthquakes, Deep Sea Trenches, Destroys Sea Floor.
Transform Boundaries: Earthquakes, Volcanoes.
