as i grew older

it was a long time ago

i have almost forgotten my dream

but it was there then

in front of me

bright like a sun

my dream

and the wall rose

rose slowly

slowly

between me and my dream

rose until it touched the sky

the wall

the shadow

i am black

i lie down in the shadow

no longer the light of my dream before me

above me

only the thick wall

only the shadow

my hands

my dark hands

break through the wall

find my dream

help me to shatter this darkness

to smash this night

to break this shadow

into a thousand lights of sun

into a thousand whriling dreams

activity 1 : a letter to the poet

i enjoyed a lot of the poem that you wrote that had lots of meanings for hopes,optimisim,pleasure and wishes.

at first you told us that you had a dream and yiu can easily achieve it and at this time there werent any obstacles.

during the poem we realise that thier is a wall grew and rose . this wall was your problem ti achieve your sream easily and make it hard.

the wall was an obstacle to yoy to achieve your dream but you never give up and still fighting to breake the wall and finish it.

in my opinion you wrote the poem that has a message and want from us to achieve you message.

i think thatthe message was if we have a lot of problms and obstacles we have to face these problems and finish them and then complete achieving oer dreams.also i think if there are patient , insistence and we should be strong and shouldn’t be afraif from problems and face them.

activity 2 : my dream

i was young i was 7 years old when my father’s friend came to our village to our house.

he told me about chinese medicine and i liked this subjectvery much then became chinese medicune my dream and i want to acieve it .

i startes reading and searching about information about it specialy if there is an emergency how we can treat with this emergency in another therapy.

i started going with my dad to china every year, when my dad goes to his job i go to hospitals and getting to know  to experts doctors then i go deeply into my dream.

my love to my dream grow every dy every moment and i will complete my dream even last day on my life.
