Mitosis has many stages. The stage before Mitosis starts is Interphase. This is when cellular organelles double in number.

The second stage is Prophase. This stage is when the organelles start to come together to form Metaphase.

The next stage is Metaphase. This is when they all come together formed in a line in the middle.

The fourth stage is Anaphase. The organelles go away from each other.

The last stage is Telophase. In this stage, The organelles are split into two different ones.

The stage after Mitosis is Cytokinesis. This is when the cytoplasm is divided. Cytoplasm is the gooey stuff that holds all the organelles together.

During mitosis, the chromosomes condense. The centriole helps cell division. The centromeres help attach chromosomes to spindle fibers. The spindle fibers divide the genetic material. The nucleus holds chromosomes. The cell membrane protects everything.
The end result of mitosis is two identical daughter cells.
