The Collision

I am 21 years old, and yet I haven’t met my grandparents. They have passed away long before I was born. There is one little detail that stayed with me all along my childhood and adulthood; a story about my grandparent’s departure from this world. Their story can convey sadness as much as it can convey love and passion. My grandmother was sick of cancer, and therefore she has passed away after her suffering, and a few days later my grandfather passed away too. They used to tell me stories about how they used to love and care for each other. My grandfather has passed away because of grief. They say he used to work as a grave digger and he dealt with death every day of his life, so he must know that death is a natural course of life, but he must have thought that this course isn’t applied to his beloved wife. my grandfather was a tough man in his nature with a gentle soul. what my grandparent’s life taught me, rather more what they have implanted on me and made me believe is that my family and I can love and give. you know how they say marriage can kill love will you don’t know about my family’s marriage. I think if you love someone for the right reasons this love can’t be distinguished. It can’t be refuted. so, although, I didn’t meet my grandparents they have influenced me greatly, and now I can say that I have spent my 21 years on strengthening my intellectuality and personality to be as strong as my grandfather build and as precious as both my grandparents’ soul.

“I thought growing old would take longer”

No matter how old are you, the circumstances you go through decide your age.

When I was a child I used to stay, sleep, eat and spend my whole time with my grandmother.  Suddenly, when I was on my way back to home, I saw a lot of people in front of our house. I started to run, but before I reached to her someone hold my hand and prevented me to enter “for being just a child”. I will never forget how he prevented me to saw her for the last time. I was waiting to reach home in order to eat together. However, the life was ready to give its first slap.
