Oscar wilde

Oscar fingal oflahertie wills wilde was born in 16 october 1854 in ireland.

he was born to a wealthy family.

oscar grew up and learned in one of the most known universities in the world-oxford.

he got an award there for hes poem.

In 1891 Oscar wilde published the book: “the picture of dorian gray”

since than Oscar wilde kept on publishing books until hes sudden death in 30 november 1990.

Summary

Dorian gray is a young man with a lot of potential.

he is a beautiful young man that became from no-one to a man with a suprising personality.

he accidentaly ran into a painter called basil hallword,and since this meeting his life were about to change forever.

he gets a big house,big money,and with the time big ego too.

Dorian got a picture of himself from basil. with the time he realize something wrong with the picture.

but than he understands- that “the picture is the mirror of the soul”.

Characters personality

sybil vane-Dorians true love. Sybil was an actor in a forgotten theatre in london.she killed herself because dorian hurt her feelings.

basil hallward-a man with a true  striving for perfection. he is an artist and a painter.

lord henry-a man that live the life for his fun. do not care of anyone besides himself. an egoist

The change in Dorians life

before the picture was painted dorian was a simple man.

a innocent man didnt know what to do in hes life. but he liked it.

after the picture was painted by basil things started to worsen .

he felt like everyone is fake. that hes too good for everyone.. like lord henry.

“THE PICTURE IS THE MIRROR OF THE SOUL”

i feel like this say is very deep in its meaning.

our soul is pretty much are personality. our personality can change very quickly.

from influence of other people.

just like in the book.

its easy to behave like people that are not you. but living like them can get you to a crisis.

you can tell the condition of a human by looking at pictures, you can learn about theyre life. if they are living a wealthy life,hard life, or normal life,

but deep inside theyre soul telling a story of its own.

YOU cant run from the real you.even if you’ll try your hardest. you will always stay who you are.

the book was great. it was very challenging. it had a lot of twists and dilemas.

the characters were great. each one with her own personality.

that book report is very important for me because im trying to start a new way in my life.

i started the book today and finished the report today.

again.

the book was great . i learned about me a lot with reading this book.
