My classmates are fun, creative and awesome , we are always having fun in Yr.6C -although we get in trouble sometimes(even during classes). That is why I will miss my class when we are separated in Secondary school.
In this booklet, I will tell you about my time in C.I.S especially in Yr. 6C. You will read about events, accomplishments and so much more. Hope you keep reading.

ABOUT ME
My name is Zara Rabia Usman- as you all already know. I am 11 years old and I am in Yr 6C, My teachers’ name is Mrs.Dosunmu (She is really fun) I have 2 sisters, who are Mariah and Aisha. My parent’s names are Attahiru Bala Usman and my mother’s name Hanatu Muktar Mohammed. I love my family so much. I am proudly Nigerian and I am from Katsina. My best friends are Sion and Ona, they are my best friends because they always stay by my side and always cheer me up when I am down. I like reading and crafting stuff, I also like watching TV and swimming. In school, my favourite subjects are literacy, art and swimming/Physical Education. During my free time I read, watch YouTubeol and play games on my iPad.

MY TIME IN C.I.S
In remember when I was as shy as a mouse when I first came into this school in reception. I was in reception A- If I remember correctly my teacher was Mrs.Archer. My teacher was the nicest teacher ever (she eventually moved back to Australia). The first person I talked to was Ona, from that day she became my best friend. We did loads of fun activities in school and that is one of the years I will never forget.
I was so sad when we had to move to Yr.1 (It was a bummer but at least i got to be in K.STAGE 1)This time my teachers were Mrs. Adaramola and Mr. Oyeku, it was a good year but so much work to do and so many challenges to overcome. Some new people came to the school like Sarem and Ana.
Then i moved to Yr.2, My teachers were Mrs. Abor and Mrs. Nnochiri- that was one of the best year I’ve had in C.I.S. Some of my close friends like Meme and Lola left that year but there were still more people to play with. Y.r 2 was surprisingly easier than Y.r 1 (Maybe because of the teachers) We also got a new principal, his name is Mr.Mark – We had to say goodbye to Mrs. Monclimont
I was soon out of K.STAGE 1 and we had moved to the new C.I.S. building. My teachers in Yr.3 were Mrs. Okoye and Ms. Obehi. They were new teachers so we had to make a good impression of C.I.S. That year we were split up into different classes so I wasn’t used to most people in my class.
In Yr.4 My teachers were Ms. Ojeku and Mr. Emeka- that was my best year yet. Ms. Ojeku would give us treats and make lessons fun, best of all she took selfies with us. She made all learning exiting and fun but you have to take her seriously. I also met some new people like Nowethu, Tobe, Beauty and Unique.
Then Yr.5 went by (My teacher was Mr. Fasanmoye) He was a very kind teacher that took his time to make us understand everything. At the end of Yr.5 I was scared because they were giving out prefect letters- luckily I got one.
Yr.6 was another scary rollercoster ride, with so many ups and downs. We have had a lot of fun and unforgettable moments. Now its coming to an end. I will miss all my friends and teachers and will never forget my experience in Yr.6 . Thank You to all my friends and teachers for making my last year in primary memorable.

SCHOOL EVENTS
In school, we have different events in school which the student council and the school council plan out for us such as; crazy hair and socks day, independence day, diversity day and school trips. I would like to share with you some of them. Some more events are Inter house choir challenge, Inter house maths and science quiz, Maths and science week (We did pie eating contest, skittle estimate and pie the teacher) Literacy week (the theme was Simply Africa, we met the authors and had a book sale,)
Some events were educational and beneficial- like literacy week, diversity day, independence day and science and numeracy week. During literacy week we learn different writing skills from various Nigerian author, we also learn things about Africa. During science and numeracy week we learnt more math skills like pie chart and estimating using games. During independence day we watch African presentations so we could learn more. During diversity day we were given a country to research on and to represent. All the other events were for our amusement (you have to have fun once in a while)

One of my greatest achievements is making it to the highest numeracy and literacy group. I have also gotten 2 certificate of achievements in Y.r 6. My greatest achievements is becoming a prefect and being in the leaership ream.

MY FRIENDS
In Yr.6 I have made some friends like Sion, Ona, Chantel, Sopriala, Adeife, Kiki, Amal, Kevwe, Khanak and Moradeke. They are the best friends you could ever ask for. They are fun, adventurous and smart.

WHAT I WANT SECONDARY TO BE LIKE
When I go to secondary I want to be in Yr.7A. I also want to be the best in my class. My favourite class was art and I would like to be a prefect when I get to Yr.10. I would like to be in a class with all of my friends and meet new people and make new friends. Secondary should be a new experience for me and teach me new things that I haven’t learnt before. From the taster, I already know that secondaries learn – trust me it’s exciting. I can’t wait to go to secondary school.

LOVE MY TEACHER
Have you realised that the world goes round because of all the teachers in your school. You might think they are just teaching you for nothing but teachers are those people who make the future leaders of tomorrow. The leaders like Martin Luther King junior and Mahatma Gandhi were all in school once and were thought by teachers. Teachers teach you skills that you will use you things that you will use today and tomorrow, so value your teacher and appreciate them everyday. THEY ARE THE REAL HEROES OF TODAY AND TOMORROW. MRS. DOSUNMU I APPRECIATE YOU !!!

GOODBYE
I don’t want to say good bye to all my friends. I hope I see them in secondary school. I will my teachers and classmates, I will miss coming to my class every morning. Instead I will be going to the secondary block and going from class to class lugging my bag around. At least I will be enjoying a long summer holiday to keep my mind of it. I hope I meet all my friends in secondary school or somewhere else.
