Bernard Malamud (April 26, 1914 – March 18, 1986) was an American novelist and short story writer. Along with Saul Bellow and Philip Roth, he was one of the best known American Jewish authors of the 20th century. His baseball novel, The Natural, was adapted into a 1984 film starring Robert Redford. His 1966 novel The Fixer (also filmed), about antisemitism in Tsarist Russia, won both the National Book Award and the Pulitzer Prize.

My goals are similar to George goals because George dream to be have a family and a job /work /girl friend and to be rich and respected .
These dreams are the dream of every ambitious person And I dream so and George and everyone wants to achieve its goals so George wanted to achieve his goals and wanted through this story to know us on his goals and not only these dreams are the dreams of George, but the American dream George began to realize his dreams when he went to the office and I hope that everyone will start achieving their goals like George and I never myself first.
