I traveled from San Francisco to Yokohama with my wife. we live in San Francisco and we wanted to take a vacation after the war.

the Cruises was very cheap because we had to share a cabin with another couple and it wasn’t the best ship.

Mr Kelada was the most hated man on the ship, he didn’t stop talking, he was a ugly man and he was very supercilious.

Me and my wife hated him so much so we decided to call him Mr know all.

we always tried to make him understand that he is annoying and that he is not welcome among us. I felt very sorry about that man that Mr Kelada always hung out with and it was clear that he didn’t like him

Mr and Mrs Ramsay were Americans. Mr Ramsay was in the american consular service and he was very obstinate. I didn’t know much about Mrs Ramsay except the fact she was pretty (don’t tell my wife)

I saw that Mrs Ramsay had a beautiful pearls Necklace and it looked very expensive and it was very suspicious because Mr Ramsay didn’t earn a lot of money.

At dinner Mr Kelada joined me and my wife. He started talking about his pearl business in Yokohama

one day i saw Mr kelada, his roomate and the Ramsay couple arguing about Mrs Ramsay’s pearls. I saw that Mr Kelada and Mr Ramsay bet about the pearls. I thought that Mr Kelada would win because his pearls knowledge but he didnt and it was very suspicious.

Later that day, I came back from dinner and I saw Mrs Ramsay threaded a envelope under Mr Ramsay’s door. I guessed it was Mr Ramsay’s money But I didn’t know why she brought it back.

After Mrs Ramsay brought back the money Mr Kelada and his roommate became friends. it was strange because he hated him beore
