Keep Thinking

We have looked through the first chapter of the book

“KEEP THINKING” for Secondary …… …. Grade 8.

We feel the book does not give the teacher and children an opportunity to introduce themselves.

We like the first lesson called

“Behind the Scenes”

and have decided to lead up to the beginning of the first chapter by…

Introducing ourselves first:

Writing an outline on the board

as to what we will be doing.

1.Introducing myself

2.Then discussing some of the rules. Their suggestions. Your guidance.

   (raise your hand.  Quiet when some else is talking.  Please ask before you       leave the classroom. etc…………………………………………………………..)

3. group pairs:   ask your neighbour two questions.

3. 4. Give them two minutes to ask the person next to them or pair groups

1. What is your name?

2. What is one thing you did over the summer?

         (  During the summer holiday I ……………

           Then asking a child  “What is your name?”  ………………..

           “Tell me one thing that you did during the summer holiday?”)

3. Then let them introduce the neighbor to the class.

What do they think it means?

Is it only for film stars and famous people?

Can it be for a Friday night dinner/supper at your grandmother’s house?
