First day of school with our textbook:

We have looked through the first chapter of the book

“KEEP THINKING” for Secondary …… …. Grade 8.

We feel the book does not give the teacher and children an opportunity to introduce themselves.

3

We like the first lesson called

“Behind the Scenes”

and have decided to lead up to the beginning of the first chapter by…

4.. Write Behind the Scenes on the Board

have a class discussion about it. Their suggestion. Your guidance

What do they think it means?

Is it only for film stars and famous people?

Can it be for a Friday night dinner/supper at your grandmother’s house?

5… Question: How did you prepare for the first day of school –

what’s “behind the scenes” for you on this day?

For example – How did you wake up in time for school?

                                            Who made you lunch?

How did you get to school?

         What did you bring?

How did you know when school started? Etc
