The beauty and the beast

About the fairy tale…

The beauty and the beast was appeared at the first time in the second century CE.

The version we know today is called “The beauty and the beast” was presented in a movie by Disney in 1991.

the earliest version was written by Lucius Apollius.

The main characters:

*The beast – was an arrogant prince, who was punished by a magician. The magician made him an ugly monster.

*Bell – lives in a French village. She loves reading and desires for living outside the village.

*Maurice – Bell’s father.

*Duston – in love with Bell, local hunter and attractive man.

*Housewares – have been made by the magician to servants.

The plot:

A handsome and spoiled prince becomes a beast by magic. To remove the spell he must learn to love.

In a few years later, In a small tow, the pretty Bell, goes looking for her father in the magical castle, where he is held by the beast – the prince.

Bell wants to be captured instead of her father, and discovers that the beast – the prince can be good.

Bell helps the beast to be a good person, and he begins to come back to life and thinks that magic can be removed.

The message:
“Dont judge a book by its cover”
One does not have to look for beauty on the outside, but at a person’s character.
As is in the story, where the beautiful Bell falls in love with the beast despite his appearance.

We recommend you to read this book, because he sends an important message. This message accompanies us also today, when still need to emphasize that beauty is not what important in a man, the character is the main thing. It’s expressed in the story, when the beauty girl (Bell) falls in love with a monster. She doesn’t relate to his beauty as something that will affect about her love for him.
