Dear diary,
I don’t know how I could even begin to explain all that has transpired in the past day. Everything I knew and everything I was has changed. No, “changed” is too subtle of a word to descried what happened. Everything I knew and everything I was has been completely destroyed. My father, he… I can’t even write it damn it! It’s all my fault.
Well, Ann said that writing it down might be a good idea, So I’ll give it a chance I guess.
It all started when George came to our house, the Angel of death. You see, he went to see his father and came here to make sure that Ann wouldn’t marry me. He was so sure that my father was guilty and being the naïve fool that I was I protected my dad. I just couldn’t believe that he was guilty.
But as I said, things have changed and I am no longer that same naïve person. My dad… he is was guilty.
Oh and then came Ann with that latter from Larry. A latter he wrote the day he died. He killed himself! There, I wrote it down! Larry couldn’t stand living as my father’s son.
After my dad read the latter I really thought he meant it when he said I should turn him in. I had no idea… I mean, if I would have known I would have done something. But, he got in to the house and decided to follow in his sons footsteps.
And now, my mother will never recover, I lost my father, I lost my brother, I lost myself. All I have is Ann and how could she ever love a man like me?
