Double Life- Yuval Hotovali

The story begins in the far space of the planet.  Millions of  light-years from Earth. The creatures on this planet were similar to the people on earth. There was no difference between these creatures and the people on earth. The creatures lived their quiet peaceful life until one day, a meteor hit their planet and all the creatures had to escape and were scattered to different planets. One family came to earth. Their flying spaceship was not strong enough. It did not survive the pressure of the atmosphere and crashed to the ground.When the father woke up he saw his child and his wife dead. Despite the deep pain and great sorrow, he tried to explore the landing site. He was not familiar with planet Earth. He did not realize that his spaceship crashed into a nuclear reactor, with very high radiation levels.

Suddenly he felt something different. He felt stronger, lighter, he suddenly began to hover in the air. When he stopped hovering, He realized he could pick up heavy things that 10 people could not lift.  After a few days wandering around the city, hungry and homeless, he saw a sign saying: “Everyone who raises that  weight (100kg) will get a free meal.” He told himself he had to try it. He had not eaten few days. After he got in and managed to lift the heavy weight he got the meal and when he finished the meal he realized that he could use his powers for his benefit. After a few more days he walked down the street and suddenly he saw people in the car trying to escape from the police

and while they were trying to escape they hit one of the pedestrians the creature tried to help the poor man but the pedestrian was already dead. Suddenly he felt that time had begun to go back, and he had been given a second chance to save an innocent man.

So he stopped the criminals and handed them over to the police. In addition he saved the pedestrian  and became a hero.    He was called “Super Creature”.

In the day he was an ordinary person who worked in the police he chose the name “Bill”. He arrested criminals when he was using his usual identity and when he used the identity of a “super hero” his purpose was – To save humanity on Earth.

News reported that a meteor was moving towards planet Earth. Bill knew it was the meteor that destroyed his home planet, so he knew his great power. The news reporter said the government would send a missile to blow up the meteor, but Bill knew the missile would not destroy the meteor. Bill tried to convince the government not to do so because it will only make things worse. But the prime minister did not listen.

Bill tried to explain to the prime minister that if the missile hits the meteor it will explode into smaller but still dangerous pieces. It didn’t help. So Bill changed his identity to “Super Creature” and flew to stop the meteors he tried to stop them in all sorts of different ways, but failed. So he came back in time and tried again. And when he finally managed to stop all the meteors he returned to Earth. He was awarded with a medal of gratitude and the ministers of the government listened to him ever since.

His goal was to protect Earth as if he was defending his own home planet if he had the super powers then He has been protecting earth with all his might, ever since.
