Or Harel rescue story

The story I chose to write about, is about the terrible incident that happened a few weeks ago in stream Tzafit in the south of the country. A group of boys and girls who were supposed to start studying in a pre-military academy went on a trip to the south when the weather was unstable. During the trip they encountered a flood while they were in the stream. Some of the boys managed to escape, a number of youths were rescued by rescue forces, and nine girls and a boy were killed in a flood.

The tragedy occurred on 26 April 2018.

The disaster happened in stream Tzafit in the Arava.

I heard about the disaster while watching T.V live and the next day I read more details in the newspaper and the Internet.

Air Force helicopters, police volunteers, members of the Arava rescue unit and teams of Magen David Adom arrived at the site.

The story ended in a very tragic way. Apart from the boys who managed to extricate themselves, the rescue units were able to rescue and rescue a boy and a girl and bring them to the hospital. The other 

youths were killed in this disaster.
