About the fairytale:

 The series sees Puss in Boots fight off an endless legion of invaders to protect the previously hidden city of San Lorenzo, after his actions unintentionally broke the spell that protected its legendary mystic treasure from the outside world. So he must find a way to restore the protection spell that will cloak the town once more.

The Plot:

The cat in boots meets a beautiful cat named Dulcinea in the thieves’ market. He takes care of her safety and follows her on her way home, discovering the hidden city of San Lorenzo. The cat takes a lousy coin from San Lorenzo, without which the magical defense that protects the city from thieves is destroyed. After seeing the situation in the city he decides to defend it.
